The Dance Syndicate of Yakima offers beginner and intermediate swing dance lessons for all ages. The goal of our talented instructors is always to create dancers slightly better than themselves. It is our hope that you, the student, are equipped not only to enjoy our social dances, but also to eventually host your own lessons and choreograph your own performances.


PRECEDING EACH FRIDAY DANCE: Our Friday dances start at 9pm.  However, there is a group lesson available (at no additional cost!) from 8-
9!  These lessons cover a variety of styles for beginner and advanced dancers, including East Coast swing, Lindy Hop, Foxtrot and Waltz.
 
PRIVATE GROUP LESSONS: If you and some friends are eager to get better, learn some new moves and polish your dancing then contact us.  There is a bigger swing dancing world out there and we'll help you get there!
 

SPECIAL GROUPS: This is coolest thing we do! Every so often a few of the more experienced Syndicate dancers will put on a special three month workshop for a select handful of committed dancers. These groups usualy specialize in air-steps (or Aerials) & intigrated Lindy. Once or twice during a Lindy Friday, these groups get to monopolize the dance floor. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, shoot us an email (swing@noyourotherleft.com) or speak with James Mayo at one of the dances. Ages 17 and up...
